The Carter's

We were walking out the door Fri morning and liza had been a little teary all morning

so i said hold on i'm going to take her temp really quick...and oops! it was 101.2. sooooo that changed our day a little bit. liza stayed home from school..and jason and i had to scramble to figure out what to do! we have been so lucky to have babysitters this whole time, we've never had to mess with that last minute! as you can see from the above pic i love taking liza's temp, i am kinda obsessed and she thinks it's fun too! she also looooves to take her medicine. it is like candy to her!

She acted ok the rest of the day fri once we got her temp down..her appetite has not been great. she woke up this am and temp as normal and then it was 99 a couple times today but she was acting ok again. a little stomach issue tonight..i guess she has a virus that has been passed around school. i hope she get's to feeling better soon!

a couple things she's been doing lately...

lot's of "hiiiiiiii mama, hiiiiii dada" (these are in a very high, sweet, country accent) it is really cute and then we say hi liza and we do this about 100 times! she also loves hiding from dada when we know he is about to walk in...she will hide and shhhhh with her finger on her mouth...this happens about 100 times a day too! ha! never gets old!

hope everyone had a good weekend! i am starting to feel SO much better. besides a few episodes and if i let myself get hungry..things are looking up and up! i have realized i can do anything if i'm not throwing up. that's the part that gets me! so life is looking good! :)
