The Carter's

I kept liza home from school today because we had an apt with the ENT dr to talk about sleep issues/snoring. He said her tonsils are large and he's guessing her adenoids are too but he said she had to wait till 3 to get them out. he thought this could be the root of her sleep issues.

he did put her on veramyst and we will go back in 6 weeks to see if there has been any improvement!

So we had a fun day playing! :)

well, first off liza did not take a nap...she fell asleep before lunch on the way home from the dr. i tried to get her down after lunch, and it was not going so fast. then it was time for McCoy to eat so I had to feed him and that meant she wouldn't stay in bed so the nap got scratched. i was impressed that it did not alter her mood! she has been pretty funny and giggly! she has her Easter party tomorrow at school so we made LOTS of treats. crunchy egg baskets and rice krispie nests! yum! liza helped me dump and measure and she REALLY found her specialty with the cleaning dept. she was really good at scrubbing dishes and filling the sink up with water and "cooking" with the water in the bowls..i think she did this for at least an hour.

ps: the headband was her idea. she was a complete mess!

McCoy was 6 weeks on wed.

He has been taking naps in his crib and has been cooing and smiling and laughing. he is still so snugly and calm. his tummy still hurts after 2am or so...

he has gone through a huge growth spurt. he is out of all of his NB clothes. he wanted to eat about every 2 1/2 hours for a few nights....hoping these stretch back out to 3-4... :)
