The Carter's

We went to the park on sat. it was so beautiful outside! liza went to the park everyday last week except the one day it was raining. she has become a professional slider. we flew kites again..and she has become a pro at this as well. she loves it and gets so excited. one time i looked up and could see groups of people around the park or walking by that were all laughing at her delight!

McCoy was in his stroller crackin jokes. he loved the weather too!!! :)

We are trying to slowly get to the point where we are not sleeping with liza anymore..fri night when i tucked her in and gave her a kiss she said "thanks for being my friend mommy!"

last night when i gave her a kiss she said "thanks for playing with me mommy!" so sweet. jason has been super dad again and has been in charge of her sleeping! :) i just put her down for a nap without laying down with her in about 5 minutes (after book reading etc etc)! so exciting! instead of rubbing her back now she just wants to hold hands.

she is getting to be such a big girl. she has been talking about the potty more lately. she teetee'd in there for the second time last week. we have not been pushing this because they don't do it at school. but she ws pretty excited for herself!

mccoy will turn 6 weeks old on wed. i can. not. believe. it.

in the real world i would be going back to work this week...i can't imagine it right now. maybe if i was part time but not full blown. i have really impressed myself with this housewife gig. i have not gotten bored one bit. i really haven't shopped as much as i thought i would either. too bad we would have to be living at college park if i quit. oh well. i told jason i would love to pursue a job that was only for the months of november, January and i could probably do February while i was at it.

i had one of my spiritual moments on friday. it was just a great day. i went to eat lunch with victoria and then went and parked at liza's school and strolled around till it was time to pick her up. it was wonderful. everyone was out enjoying dickson st. colliers had the outdoor music on, people were everywhere, i saw new restaurants, bars..places. walked down to shop through lola and then mae's where linley helped me with such fun necklaces that are great for spring. molly was getting her haircut at dead swanky so then i walked up there to say hi to her and taylor. and then it was time to walk over and pick liza up. i love where i live. i loved the excitement of the street but the fact that i was a block away from jason's office, liza's school, shops and friends getting their hair cut! there was even a banner hanging across the street that announced the school musical. i loved it! we are very lucky to live in a place like this! for that i am thankful! of course then i thought..well DANG! i'm probably going to die tomorrow!..BUT god is good! i'm still here! haha!
