Mccoy is 6 months!

We had his Dr apt last week and here are his stats:

weight 16.14

length 27

head 17 1/4

these were all in the 50%

he has finally gained some weight in the past month. i think his reflux is finally getting better.

we switched his formula off soy to the gentlease..and eating 6 ounces every 3 hours. she said to take the cereal/oatmeal out too. (it's amazing how one dr tells you to do something and the next one tells you not to! :) )he still does not eat a lot in the mornings. she also upped his dose of zantac and this has helped a lot!

he is not getting up every hour at night anymore..pretty much twice a night to eat at around 1 and 4 and sometimes up for a little while but getting to where he will go back down.

last night he even skipped that 4 am!!!!! i can't tell you what a difference this makes for the shut eye...we were up with liza but that made a huge difference so hopefully he will do that again tonight!

he is sitting up pretty good and really wanting to crawl..he will get on all fours and rock or even get one leg up and get ready to scoot...he wants to move really badly

he still hates baby food but they say he'll eat about half at school which is way better than what we can get him to do! the dr told us not to feed it to him at night for right now..

he is still not crazy about his paci but will take it sometimes

no teeth coming through but drools like crazy.

he is still so so sweet....he LOVES his big sis and laughs at EVERYTHING she does.

liza is coming around and starting to like him too..she will sing to him in the car when he is crying and it will actually call him down. she has been wanting to hold him when we are putting her to bed at night and she is so sweet with him..she says "ohhhhh mccoy, you are so sweet buddy. you're a good boy mccoy."

when he is tired he will rub his hands over my face and it makes me want to snuggle up and go to sleep too! it's almost like he is memorizing my face with his little hands...maybe that is his little gift to me at the end of the day to get me ready for bed...

liza has also been asking me to lay down on her belly and she will rub my hair...so i will lay my head on her and she just rubs her hands through my hair and on my back! why are my sweet little kiddos nurturing ME??? haha! :)

liza has had a tough week at school. wilburt has thrown up twice and it has FREAKED liza out. really bad..she is kinda in a panic about it. she is nervous to go to school because of this and it is SO unlike her. i know this will pass but i wish she was her old excited self about school everyday...i think it is just a transition...

liza is still in LOVE with her dada...she get really nervous if she thinks i am going to put her to bed instead of him. she told me today that she was going to go ahead and let me go to work and she would stay at home with dad...i'm not kidding ...her words exactly. :) i LOVE that she LOVES her dad.

we had a great weekend last weekend...had a last minute get together in the backyard with a whole bunch of kiddos! we are thankful for our friends..always! :)

blog seems to have taken a back seat since we are so dang busy!!! :)
