Thanksgiving

We headed up to Springfield for Thanksgiving...it was a jam packed weekend! On Friday, Jason and I took liza to the Discovery Center. It really is the coolest thing. Liza could have stayed there all day long. It was fun to just have her by ourselves...I really don't know if Jason and I have been alone with her since McCoy was born. :( kinda sad. thanks mom and jennifer for babysitting! :)

i had gotten liza this dress from target...she calls it her cinderella dress...we didn't really have a place to wear it so we thought thanksgiving dinner would be perfect!

i have a new lens on my camera and i seriously can't work it. :(

cricket was on call all weekend and then got a kidney stone...so we were sad for him. feel better soon cricket!

mccoy decided about a week ago that he was going to turn into an eating machine!!! It all started when we went to la hacienda and he shoved all of mine and liza's dinner into his mouth as fast as he could. ever since then... he can.not.consume.enough. he was eating anything he could get his hands on and if he saw someone else eating he would FREAK out into you split it with him.

he also started doing this new click thing that he loved communicating with. he didn't sleep great there but he now has 2 bottom teeth and the top one is coming in big and strong!

Liza is the busiest little bee in springfield. she never stops..my mom has one million toys out..a lot of which are from our childhood and liza looooves them all. i kinda cracked up when we came back home because i felt like we had NOTHING to play with here!

liza painted pine cones, planted bulbs, dug for worms, went on walks, put on puppet shows, played kitchen and house, cooked eggs, played on the pool table, played with the breyer horses, took a million baths, watched Pinocchio, played with barron, chalked....and the list goes on and on.....
We also did the annual dinner at Gilardis Friday night. We have the back room and it is around 50 people that we all grew up with. They are all like family to us so it is fun to have time with them! liza and mccoy stayed till around 830. It is a nice restaurant and the room is cramped for that many people so i was proud of their behaviour. liza did have a few fits and broke her glass. on the way home she told coco that "mama was scared when i broke my glass"... "her eyes looked like THIS!" the funny thing was i was feeding mccoy and never moved a muscle but i guess she had a close eye on me too! :) liza told me her favorite part of the dinner party was burying her hand in her spaghetti. mccoy had about 100 lbs of spaghetti that night as well! :)

We were so thankful for a wonderful thanksgiving with family and friends!

My parents , i know, must be worn out because liza wants them to do EVERYTHING with her. and someone pretty much has to be holding mccoy at all times because there are 2 death staircases that go downstairs that i panic about. Jason and I got to go see a movie, go play with liza, and go out to eat and downtown all while having free babysitters!!!!!! LUCKY!!!! ;) thank you guys!!!! we love ya!

We missed the Carters and will be there soon for Christmas! :)
