I am so grateful to be home!
Linda came in town to help Jason with the kiddos last week while i was in atlanta and boy are we thankful!!! The kids were so excited she was here and i know jason carter was too! :) I think they went to the library everyday and got to do extra special grandparent stuff like eat 2 bowls of ice cream! ;) when i got home my house was clean, sheets washed, laundry done, fridge full, broken stuffed animals sewn up, etc etc.
THANK YOU Linda!!
I love a paci smile. when it creeps out the sides
this guy loves his sissy.
we took a trip to toys r us. just me and the kids. i had my eyes opened while i was there...mccoy was impossible in there...he tried to jump out of the cart head first 100x and then ran up and down every isle at the speed of lightening. i was sprinting after him and could barely catch him. then liza would be freaking out because i would just leaver her with the buggy and purse wherever we were and take off after him.
by the time we left i was SWEATING and carrying our bag out in one hand, mccoy with his head towards the ground and feet up in the air and one finger on liza's shirt. about 5 people asked me if they could help. i think we looked that pitiful!!! haha!
anywho--this was the best $5 spent:
it gave us hours of fun with the neighbors.
mccoy had a couple days left of school so liza and i decided to take advantage of our time alone and do stuff that would have been hard with mccoy around. let me start off by saying that when i told her i was getting to stay home to play she started crying and told me she missed school about 100x! :)
we went up to build a bear and she picked out a bunny and named it pink bunny.
we went on a train ride after that. then headed to the pool after naps!
Today we did arts and crafts! I have to say the most fun thing has been having long talks with liza without any distractions. she cracks me up constantly.
i got some alone time with mccoy last weekend and took him to the pet store and the book store.
he had his last day of school today so we will get to do something fun all together tomorrow!

I am coming back in my next life as a Carter kid! What a fun time you have been having and what special memories you are creating. Paige is so excited to see McCoyBoy! She's worried he will be bigger than her now! Hope the new job is going well and this is a wonderful year for all. I can't believe my baby is beginning her senior year (even though it will take an extra semester to get her degree). Hold tight to these days, Kate. You really do wake up and they are gone. You are a good momma!
