It was McCoy's first day back at school on Thursday!
He was a little hesitant about getting back there. Of course by Friday he was good to go!
i think the cats out of the bag: he is no longer a little baby. look at this big boy.
but i think as long as you wear a diaper, sleep in a crib and drink a bottle you are STILL a baby.
and i can still count how old he is in months. yep. for sure. he is still a little newborn baby boy.
My mom came in town last sunday to help for the week.
when i grow up, i want to be just like her.
she constantly has a fun idea to do with the kids. she makes believe, she teaches new words, she laughs.
we love that coco and all the help she brings.
she loves coming to the rescue. she shows up at our door ready to take the kids every time we need her. even though she lives 2 hours down the street.
we gave her about a one day break and then sent the kids up to springfield yesterday so we could go to the lake with friends. their basement flooded and they are getting it re-done so she slept on the couch with mccoy and liza slept with cricket and both were up this morning at 5:15. my dad was on call and i gave my mom this AWFUL sinus infection.
and she told me how perfect they were and how much fun they had. and she thanked me. she thanked me. for letting them love on these kids.
thank you mom and dad for all you do! we love you!
meanwhile in liza land she has been yelling things like .."you don't love me anymore!!!!!" and
"you're not my best friend anymore (to me)!!!!"
i know these were probably captured from my mouth as a child and put in a little box in heaven, where god stores all childhood memories and then re-released into my childs mouth 26 years later.
dear god--thanks for the laugh... you little prankster, you! :)

Kate, some days you give the best gifts. This day was one of them. Thank you. Love, Mom
