The kids have been painting a nativity scene that has been their focus the past few days. it is an ongoing project for them and they seem to just paint over what they already painted. the neighboring furniture and carpet have suffered but oh well.
and of course, what painted project would be complete if you didn't paint your whole body. including the bottom of your feet before you run upstairs.
one afternoon they painted circles on their cheeks like makeup.
the real fun part is after they get " dirty" they HAVE to have a bath. they have been taking around 10 baths a day. they ALWAYS do this at my parents house but don't usually at our house. apparnetly , it's a huge party in the tub.
liza and mccoy have been the best of buds lately. they want to sleep together, read books together, watch movies together. liza says every night " i want mccoy to sleep with me!!!!! i have barely seen him all night!! "
liza reads books by herself after we have tucked her in. she will usually fall asleep with a book in her hand. the other night i went ot go turn her light off and there she was ...all tucked in and cuddled up with her trophy!
chloe and liza have been having LOTS of playdates lately.
she came over sat morning for some dress up.
of course, mccoy joined in too...
they are REALLY wanting to eat the gingerbread house they made!!!!
and here is one dude that is in need of a face washing and haircut.
mccoy has always answered "yes" by opening and closing his mouth several times. we always laugh because we don't know why but that is just how he says yes. (it's a silent gesture) well yesterday he just started saying "ya" in this voice like he has been saying ya all of his life. and now he just answers everything in ya ...it is so funny to us that just one day he totally changed his response!

I do love this blog. Dress-up took me back to the old attic and curtain dress-ups. I like McCoy's swim team costume and sumo wrestler poneytail. I'm glad Liza and McCoy are such good friends now. Does this mean no more crib?
Love, Coco
