 meme and poppee came to town to celebrate christmas this week! the kiddos loved being able to open presents again! they got lots of goodies from aunt alice and uncle bill and cousins too!

 liza has LOVED makeup lately. she loves painting her toes too.

 this dog has been on her list for the longest time. she was in LOVE when she opened it! thank you meme and poppee!

 mccoy has been her muse with her makeup...i went to do some laundry upstairs one day and came down to his whole face painted with lipstick. i have had the hardest time getting the makeup off of them so they have been trotting around town with full makeup faces for the most part!

we have had a busy week since coming home for christmas! meme and poppee came, i have taken the kids to the library, boingo bounce, barnes and noble, even sams to shop (i was very brave at that point). the weather was amazing the last two days. pretty much spring like. we took every toy we owned out into the front yard and lots of neighborhood kids came to play. it was awesome! yesterday we went on a long walk!

liza fell in love with a couple stuffed animals when we were playing at barnes and noble.
i told her she couldn't take them home and it was TOTAL devastation. we walked out of there and she was screaming " i don't love you anymore!!!!!" "i can't believe you are leaving them here!!!!!" she continued to cry about them pretty much all day long. she also screamed at me "you ruined my life!!!!!!". i really have no idea where she has picked these sayings up. total teen drama!!!!! haha.


when we went to boingo bounce liza was such a big sister she really looked out for mccoy. i told her on the way home how much i appreciated her being a good big sis and playing with her brother and looking out for him etc etc. and she said " well, mom...it really scares me when he is not right next to me!!!"


i was laying down with her for a nap and we were talking and she said "mom, i have to tell you something..you have a crack in your eye. (it was a blood vessel)" i said "I KNOWWWW! it means i am too tired and not getting anough sleep! "


mccoy has been hilarious and is talking SO much now! he picks new words up every single day. i feel like it has taken off over the past couple weeks.

liza was running in front of us in the library and he starts screaming "SISSYYYYYY, RED LIGHTTTTTTTTTTTT" (that is what i tell her to make her stop when she is running)

when liza has been getting in trouble we count and mccoy will say "SISSYYY, 2!!!!!!"

during  liza's breakdowns mccoy  screams, "SISSYYYYY! SHHHHHH!!!!! "
