The sunday after mccoy's bday party we were trying to get all the play time we could in together. so we flew kites and played outside on a VERY windy day! :)
my mom and dad took liza and mccoy home to springfield with them for the week to help jason while i was in vegas for my work meeting. we are so appreciative of their help and really don't know how we would do it without help!!!. i am emotional as always when i have to leave. :( i hate it. my stomach aches and i think about it for months before. it actually ends up never being as painful as the anticipation of it. but i just don't like to leave my babies for WORK! :( and i feel like it has been  non stop the past year.
i guess it puts things into perspective and i really am grateful for every moment with them and make the most of each minute we are together! so anywho...back to the kites...
liza was really good at it and would tug it like a fishing line , which was actually a pretty good kite flying technique

this dude was mostly into what kind of trouble was out there.

he noticed an opportunity to annoy someone.
lula HATES it when he rings the doorbell and barks nonstop.
so guess who LOOOOOOVES to ring the doorbell?????
mccoy thinks anything that he can push or roll is actually just a mobile step stool. he will use anything he can move to position as a stool for climbing onto bigger and better things.
ps--
i think i mentioned earlier that we had moved his mattress all the way to the floor in his crib and he was STILL getting out. turns out he is now actually sliding UNDER an opening in the bottom of the crib. i know it has to be some sort of strangulation waiting to happen. i am TERRIFIED to move him to a big boy bed though. when liza turned psychotic on us for about a year was around 2 yrs and 3 months (right before mccoy was born) and she didn't sleep a wink for about 6 months at least.i don't want to repeat that and this is even earlier than what she did!!!!!  so, in parting...
dear lord,
please put a sleeping spell on my little munchkin.
may angels swat him on his little hands as he wiggles out of his bed
and sing sweet lullabies to his mommy and daddy
as they need to stunt the growth of premature gray hairs and dark circles.
amen.
