McCoy's 2 year update

Well, I'm a little overdue with this but we went to the dr this week so here are his stats!

75 th percentile

what this dude is doing:

playing
he loves to RUN, hop, jump, gallop, CLIMB!
he jumps dwn the stairs and climbs on the outside of the staircase.
he climbs on bar stools and gets on the island. he will climb out of chairs through the armholes just for fun and will scream HELP while laughing. he will move the kitchen chairs to the couch so he can climb up and jump off the back. or he will move the chairs to the kitchen so he can "help". he loves to work in the sink. he will "wash dishes" and takes the faucet off the neck like a hose and spray down the kitchen.
when we are cooking he wants to pull up a chair and "watch" but really wants a bowl of ingredients to stir on his own. he jumps on every coffee table to another piece of furniture.
he loves choo choos, trucks, tractors.
he loves to push his trucks around the house.
he wants to do whatever the big kids in the neighborhood are doing..if that is playing basketball or racing on the plasma cars..he wants to do it. loves jumping on the tramoline and laughing and yelling whoaaaaa while he nose dives into the net.
he just started totally peddling on his own with his tricycle.
fav books are almost anything usborne. he loves the ones with sounds on the trucks and anything with flaps. he still loves his baby sign language books and knows a lot of signs but mainly does them for fun but will use them to communicate occasionally.
still working on pronouncing a lot of words but says something new everyday.
my favorite words are "i wuv u momma"
he loves his sissy. more than life.
still loves his paci (his "mine")
but we are transitioning that out.

he loves to eat
but won't eat everything anymore.
he is getting pickier.
he will eat almost any protein though. he will usually eat his plate and then if liza gets up from the table he will grab her plate and eat hers too.

he loves the tv. he loves the toy story movies, cat in the hat,dora, little Einsteins, wiggles ("bow wow")

his sleep is ok. we still have a little trouble getting him down.
we read and then rock and then lay him down in the crib and have to sit in his room for a little while.
he get up in the middle of the night some. this week we had one awful night where he didn't go to sleep till 11pm and then was up from 2-6am nonstop. didn't close his eyes once. oops. make that 2 bad nights. adding this in on sat. morning. he was up from 3am-530am this morning. pretty awful! :( hoping this is just a phase.

he will throw a fit. he hits. he screams no. he pouts. pushes and throws. he is 2! :)

he goes to time out and will do this look that says i know i was wrong and won't look you in the eye but he won't cry while in time out for the most part.

he loves to hide under blankets or whenever he is and giggles with delight while you are "looking" for him. he loves to jump on beds.

he likes to drink his milk hot ("hot juice")

he is still VERY obsessed with his dada ! :)
