coco and cricket came down for easter weekend. they are usually down her every couple of weeks. it is like clockwork every time after about a week and a half liza starts crying about every night missing them, ESPECIALLY if she has gotten in trouble..she will want to go to springfield because she just misses coco and cricket. the response is almost as if the reason she acted out was because she was in so much pain from not seeing her grandparents! hahaha.
my mom came early on friday to help pick the kids up from school so i could get some extra things done with work. sometimes i don't even realize how much an extra couple of hours of help make the biggest difference to my to do list. mom, i can't thank you enough for lifting things off my shoulders again and again.
friday night jason and i got to run to bordino's and pick up dinner to go. it is such a treat for jason and i to go on this "mini-date! " :)
sat night my mom set up an easter picnic. it was darling. we all ate dinner one the floor and had a picnic.
liza and mccoy went on an easter egg hunt for their prizes. they had also sent prizes the week before and liza said she really needs the sun so she can blow up the pirate ship pool that was sent! :)
even bob and fran sent easter prizes! :)
on easter sunday..liza looked at me and said , " mom, do you know who i'm going to marry? cricket!"
