we have had one of those good laid back weekends with plenty of activities but filled with lots of family time! just what makes me happy! :) i had kind of a stressful week of work so this was just what the dr ordered! friday i picked liza and chloe up from school and took them to swim lessons. chloe has started taking lessons with liza and it has helped her fear of going under water so so much. chloe is a little fish so it has made it much more fun for liza! i will say i was in a complete sweat from chasing mccoy around the pool and grabbing him when he tried to jump in fully clothed about 99 times. next time we are going to have to get our suits on and swim. then liza went home with chloe and they went to see the new movie rio. they had the best time together! :) by the time she got home almost around 9 she was worn slick and crying that she missed her mama. i think that was maybe too many nonstop activities in one day! whew!
sat we woke up and went to touch a truck. mccoy is so obsessed with all of his truck books. when we drive anywhere he is screaming every time he spots any trucks, buses, firetrucks, etc. (which you can imagine, we run into a lot of trucks throughout the day) one of his books has a character , monster truck max, so he screams..THERE'S MAAAAXXXX! non stop. so none the less, we figured he would be in heaven here. i made a dummie move and didn't bring a coat for myself. it was 30 degrees with a fierce wind that made my eyes water and ears explode so we couldn't stay very long but they loved it!

liza was actually pretty good at it all
we went to eat lunch then headed to a birthday party in our neighb for eyan. they had a huge petting zoo so of course the kids were loving life
we came home and took naps then headed up to the baseball game
i have been meaning to mention liza and chloe's love for each other. even ms. allison at school has said that they play together all day long and never fight and have the neatest friendship to watch. i totally love that. i think being a good friend and having good friends are some of the best gifts in life so i tickled that these girls have that gift already!
mccoy idolizes all of these boys...he was running around on their tails all night. they were so sweet to entertain him and make him laugh. just for the record...is it possible to have both a son and husband addicted to paci's???? the goal was to start weaning him off at 2. i am totally fine with doing this but i think jason is addicted to giving him paci's as much as mccoy is addicted to them! hahaha! mccoy only asks jason for them and somehow jason ALWAYS has one :)
