impromtu tea party.

 sunday morning came with a bright sunny sky and it called for a tea party breakfast. everyone dressed for the occasion. mccoy put on his sports coat over his dinosaur pj's. unicorn put on her pearls and best t-shirt and liza picked a dress that "wasn't scratchy" the tigers also came outside for the occasion.

 everything was perfect.
UNTIL mccy took the sugar from liza and spilled the "tea" all over the table
liza screamed " this is my tea party!!!!! and i am in charge of EVERYTHING!!!!! and now it is RUINED!!!!!!!"

 the fact that he got that kind of reaction made this boy very happy.

 it is weird that tea doesn't stay on a plate like it does in a cup

 liza thought her tea needed a little more sugar because she said it would make her sweet! :)

 things were happy again, UNTIL mccoy stole the knife and ran for the border

i am heading off to orlando till thurs night. jason will have a busy week so give him lots of encouraging smiles when you see him! :) meme and poppy are coming in town for their golf tourney early to help! this will be such a treat for the kids since they haven't seen them in a while. and i know one BIG kid (jason) that will be very appreciative of the help!
leaving town for work is hard for me. i always feel like it affects about 3 weeks. the week before i start getting a little anxious. i make sure every second is taken care of and planned for when i'm gone, i get all my work stuff ready for the meeting, ect ect. then i am gone for a week and then the next week i feel like i'm in recovery stage. i would like to think it makes us all a little better at our day. it gives me a chance to be fully present and soak up special moments with my kids like fancy back yard tea parties. it lets jason show the world his super daddy skillz while i'm gone and lends an opportunity for grandparents to share their laps with these little ones! ;)
