mem day

i put on my big girl pants and took the kiddos to the pool myself on sat while jason played in the golf tourney. it actually wasn't as bad as past years because it wasn't quite as crowded so i could keep my eyes on both of them. mccoy looks like he has gotten through that stage of just wanting to climb the stairs to the snack bar over and over again. he now just runs down to the diving board and wants to climb that over and over. i just can't leave liza's side though because she isn't wearing any floaties or anything but still can't truly swim so that makes me a nervous wreck ;) it is just hard to have one set of eyes on 2 non swimmers the first weekend a pool opens!  by the time i packed them back up to go home, i had spent some serious energy and they were both crying...the next thing i knew i was being pulled over. ugh. hate it when that happens. apparently my subconscious wanted me to get home FASTER.
the next day we got a special treat of DAD coming to help us at the pool right before he played his sunday round of golf with poppy.
