we had the new school fun run this weekend! the kids had so much fun! mccoy was a little sleepy because we woke him from his nap early. it is so fun to watch all the kids have fun together outside of their class! they cheer each other one and would chant each other's name as they saw them walk into the stadium!

liza in the pre-k run... she had been nervous for a couple days because she kept saying "mom, i am scared i am not going to win again!" (she LOVED winning last year) every time i told her that this was a FUN run and we didn't care about winning...it was to have fun with our friends ...that she may not win and that was totally fine! i told her i was ALWAYS proud of her when she tried hard and that is all that mattered! (at this point i was still a little nervous that she had in her mind she wanted to win and win only)
so, thankfully i didn't have to bring out my coaching/parenting/counseling skillz post race because we got another piece of hardware to bring home..

I'd like to say that it was the Razorback spirit that caused the fast running - may have been those Razorback red shoes for McCoy but definitely it was the tiger striped leggins for Liza! Looked like a great day for lots of champions.
