Liza turns 5!

 Liza had been counting the sleeps down to her birthday for about 6 months. she was soooo excited for it to finally be here! the night before her birthday we always look at her baby book and blog books and talk about the day she was born and how she has grown up. she LOVES to see all her baby pics and hear stories! we snuck balloons in her room the night before while she was sleeping. she woke up BRIGHT and EARLY to run tell us about her birthday balloons and to get downstairs to see her presents!

 she was so ready to get to school and let everyone know it was her birthday!

 she was VERY sick of me taking pics.

 i came to her class to read a book to the class and pass out her bday prizes.

 Liza passed out silly bands to all her friends and instructed them to all sit down and come up to get their silly band when she called their name! ha! we then helped her decide just to pass them out around the circle. she felt VERY special! i read "the world champion of staying awake" a book about a little girl that can't get all her animals to sleep.

 after school we went straight to chuck e cheese and then home to blow out candles! they felt like they were in heaven!

 I read my update for Liza's birthday last year and everything is still soooo liza! :)
she knows peoples names. she loves to scream out names to say hi to people on our way in and out of school whether it is someone that works in the office, someone in another class, someone's mom etc. she knows peeps! :)
she LOVES school. she has never had a day of school she doesn't like. she thrives on it!
she is sweet with her friends and really any kid she meets. she has a great inviting disposition.
she is motherly.
she will translate things for mccoy.
she will negotiate
she makes believe with her friends or brother. they usually act out movies or act as animals
she still LOVES art.
most sat. mornings she will wake up before the sun comes up and say mom, lets do some art.
she loves projects
she will tell mccoy his looks beautiful.
she loves spongebob.
she loves games.
she loves BOOKS. she will read a pile full every night after we read together.
we say our prayers every night and then "god bless" people we are praying for. when we do this she will act out the people and say thank you in their voice
she loves to read her kids bible and will ask for the stories over and over.
she has a lot of questions.
she loves to be outside and ride bikes.
she is into small trinket toys...
she loves to sing the songs from school
she loves jokes
she likes to trick you
she is funny. oh so funny.
she loves to play beauty shop and paint nails and brush my hair and fix it in crazy ways. she has very creative names for her polish recommendations like rasberry sorbet surprise..etc
she gets frustrated. she says she is losing her patience and getting so frustrated with us. she stomps her feet and cries but can turn it off in a second if something is on the line.
i'm not sure i can remember the last time she was in time out. she responds to the 1,2,3 method really good.
she rides her bike without training wheels. and a BIG bike.
she has gotten pretty picky about what she wants to eat but still loves fruit and some veggies.protein is a struggle and she prefers turkey meat.
she loves gymnastics and dance..really anywhere she is with her friends!
she is finally getting over her phobia of toilets flushing (this was still from a toilet overflowing at school when she was 2)
