Christmas in Springfield

We played in Fayetteville for a while until uncle chippy called and said he wanted us to hurry up and come to play! :) so we packed in a hurry and drove on up to keep the christmas paartay train rollin.
mccoy and liza walked in and saw the pirate ship and puppet theater asap and were just enthralled! thank you coco and cricket!

he couldn't take his eyes off of it!

my little puppeteer! she has slept with all of her puppets every night because she wanted them to get to know everyone (the rest of her stuffed animals)
in mccoy's teacher conference they told us that mccoy LOVED the felt board at school so coco found him this one with all sorts of activities with it! it is so fun to watch him play out these stories!
uncle chippy got him these super hero capes.

he had to test them out. yep. it made him run faster
 and her too
aunt jen gave mccoy this blow u football. this was the hit of the house for the next few days. they did this over and over!

 arghhhh cricket.
liza had books in her stocking that she could write all herself!
uncle chippy got this in his stocking. so true santa. so true.
aunt jen made family cookbooks for us all. they have all of our fav recipes!

jason was busy in the bar when we got to town.
he thought he was a pro but spilled and dropped the shaker TWICE!
i think they are sipping some pappys or something. they look so distinguished.
liza set the table for dinner and pretended she was the waitress.

bob and fran and hannah and tim came over the next morning for christmas.

they brought mccoy a remote control helicopter that was a huge hit!
we had such a good visit and got to do lots of fun stuff. we went to eat at steak and shake and to the Muppet movie with aunt jen. we had a HUGE dance party and obstacle curse competition that aunt jen made. we also had a hand stand competition. well that was just between me and chip. hmmm. i wonder why we are so competitive???? love a good thrill of a  competition, well and WINNING!!!! ;)
we feel so lucky that we can see all of our friends and family that travel so far for the holidays. we feel blessed to be able to share the joy of the christmas spirit with all of our families! :)
I love being at my parents house (i'm sure just like everyone does ;) )...there is never any worries. we eat good and drink good and laugh a LOT. the kids are encouraged to run around like crazy animals and we always have a lot of help with baths and bedtimes and all the things that can run your energy level down just a lil bit. ;) love ya'll.
thank you everyone!
