may day etc

 so as we know, liza LOVES holidays. just LOVES them. and since we have not really had a holiday coming up...she caught wind that jason and i's anniversary was on may 1 and became OBSESSED with it! hahaha. she wanted to plan and talk about it every second. she kept asking people if they were "coming" to the anniversary.
so to prepare for the big day, the night before we got out the wedding pictures and liza looooved looking through them all. she thought everything was so cool! she said dad looked very handsome and i looked tan. hahaha.
so the ani night jason went and got crab legs and we had special cupcakes for dinner. it was an official holiday for liza! ;)
we also share the holiday with May Day. so we made little paper vases with flowers for our neighbors and went off to ring doorbells around us!
we did this every year growing up and had so much fun!
they LOVED ringing the doorbell and RUNNING.

 as we went to houses we kept picking up kiddos that joined in on the fun! ;)

 friday liza's class had pet show and tell day so they each took pics of their pets. poor lula doesn't get much lens time so i thought we better get this on the books! ;) my mom asked liza this morning what she told the class about lula and liza said, well i told them that she poops in the house sometimes!.

 we had a scavenger hunt in the yard last week. the kids loved it! they had to find something, round, green, soft, etc....

this weekend we soaked up some sun! mccoy threw up twice on friday and then felt totally fine  for 24 hours until he threw up again sat night (poor blake was babysitting) so we played out in the backyard in the pirate ship pool most of the weekend! love that sunshine!
