since we were headed to springfield this weekend we did christmas at our house early! we always head down to see the lights on our christmas "eve" so we did just that! :)
they were SO excited it was almost christmas morning. they told everyone we saw that santa was going to come see them tonight. we went to eat at hugos and then we headed home to do our eve festivities!

i was so excited to do luminaries this year. growing up this was a huge tradition for us..we would have hundreds of milk jugs that my dad cut the tops off of and it was part of our duties to run those out to the wall and street and line every inch with them! we were thinking it would help santa know to stop by our house but my mom reminded me it was actually to lead the way for baby jesus! ;)
santa already nibbled on the cookies...liza left him a note!
liza was so ready to get to bed and all she wanted was to read the night before christmas! she almost has the whole thing memorized! haha.
