McCoy's 4 year update

He has this little blue vein above his right eye that you can see when he is mad or worked up about something. i love running my fingers over it to calm him down.

i say i love you and he either responds...i don't love you with a devil grin or he pretends he doesn't hear me and i say mccoy do you know that? do you know i love you? and he says in his gruff lil voice."  i know that! " :) i take whatever i can get! :) but that has now become our thing...i say i love you, you know that? and he says...know that.

he likes peanut butter and jelly. turkey deli meat. goldfish. apples.milk. he will eat most meats because it is muscle meat and makes him grow big muscles.

he is obsessed with books. he goes on spurts of his favs for a couple weeks and that is all he wants to read over and over again. some of his favs right now are look a book.art and max,

his bedtime routine is still not perfect...but it works for right now. it takes him a while to calm down once he gets in bed. we usually read books all together in his bed with liza then i will take liza to her bed to read books and jason finishes up with mccoy. he was sleeping in there until mccoy fell asleep but that would take forever so now we are working on the hallway exit/sit. it is getting better.
he still gets up most night anywhere from 12-5ish to come get in our bed. it doesn't bother me too bad. it is one of the only times i can get him still enough where i can cuddle and kiss on him. ;)

he still likes to pick out his clothes but is not quite so ocd about it as he was. it totally depends on his mood. he loves all jerseys or anything razorback.

he likes to play dress up. he loves to be naked or in his undies with jason's belt wrapped around twice and a sword tucked on the side and in the back of his belt. he will also wear cowboy boots or my black boots with this ensemble. this is usually his puss and boots outfit.

he loves power rangers or any superhero with a sword or weapon. he mainly wants to dress up like them over playing with figurine type things. he loves to act out scenes where he is the superhero or the bad guy.

he loves all sports. especially whatever is in season. he has LOVED playing soccer and making goals. he feels awesome when he does. ;)
he loves riding his bike (without training wheels) and scooters
he loves shooting baskets and loves to say timmmmmmmmme out like the announcer does at the hog games. he is always the razorbacks , the white team, and you are always alabama when you play him at a sport.

he loves watching older boys and will mimic them to be like them in whatever they are doing...how the walk how the are sitting...he watches and repeats. ;)

he loves to say, "that's awkward"

he loves school so much. he always has some stories to tell about school and his friends.

he is tough, really tough and will fall and jump back up like it was no biggie most of the time.

he gets furious when you call him your baby boy..he wants to be a big big boy so bad.

we love this rough and tough lil gruff voiced boy so much. he is always making us run faster, think smarter and laugh harder!!! :)
