Beach part 3

we had such a fantastic beach trip thank to coco and cricket! we are so grateful for the memories made here! i know these children will never forget it! the house we stayed in this year was Avalon. it is in a great spot and we loved it. we mixed it up this year on eating out because Edie is so tricky but we all got to go on "date nights" we loved the pearl, of course, la crema and georges, got lots of cowgirl kitchen, pizza on the beach, and paradis. we got to go meet all our buddies at seaside one night and the kids had a ball playing night Frisbee! we ate at the food trucks, shrimp shack, taco bar that night and there is NO beating that! no waiting on a table, fast and easy!

uncle chippy and aunt jessica came from sat-tues..the boys played golf and went fishing. on the first day of boyscation..i was down on the beach and mccoy decided he was furious and he had a rash and wanted to go back home to the pool, liza was having the time of her life with her friends and refused to leave, and then edie ran face first into the beach chair and got a humongous bloody nose. thankfully coco came to the rescue and helped me with the two back at the house. it made me think that my mom has probably felt that all her life...all three kids needing totally different things and going in all three different directions.... i feel ya now!!!! :) 

aunt jen came in town mon-fri and the kids loved having her there! they loooove their aunts and uncles to play. they get so excited! 

so liza spent her whole time with her booty in the air fishing underwater for ocean creatures..she found EVERYTHING! she could hold her breath for the longest time and would come up with jellyfish, seahorses, crabs, and so many other slimy sea creatures that made me squirm. she felt like she had won the lottery since the bradleys were staying a few houses away from us! this made mccoy furious that she had friends down there and he didn't so he was a tad bit jealous. mccoy preferred the pool because he said that the sand made his TT hurt (a little chafing ;) ) , and the salt water made his eyes hurt. edie was pretty hard at the beach. she loved the sand and loved the ocean but she would go 99 mph into the ocean and into the waves and wanted to swim all by herself and didn't want anyone helping her but at 15months she kind of needed a hand fighting the ocean waves. she would then throw herself into the sand face first and then try to steal everyone's beers and throw her drinks and snacks into the sand. this would usually end in a fit that she couldn't recover from and have to head back up to the pool. lol! she ended up getting an eye infection too so that made her a touch bit fussier than usual! :) it really was such a great vaca. we look forward to it every year. it is such a happy place and we are so grateful! thanks again coco and cricket! we love ya!

also, the drive wasn't too painful! yippee! we stayed in ridgleand on the way down and then drove straight through on the way home, we left at 6am and made it in 12.5 which beat our 15 hour trip the time before! yay!
