First Day of School!

liza is in Ms. Sherman's class!
Mccoy is in Ms Deweese's class!
From FLS: " hold your kids close, make sure they see joy in your eyes when you are together, and cherish the time you are a family. These will be some of the best days of your life. Rock em out of the park!"

We spent the whole week before school started gearing up for the first day of school and kindergarten send off! it seemed like we had an activity every night to get ready for the big day! we had orientations, meet the teacher, kindergarten party at our house and Popsicles on the playground! mccoy was still SO PUMPED to get to school. he had some New school buddies going to school with him, none in his class, but all at vandergriff, so he felt very comfortable playing with everybody! we were so emotional about leaving new school i think we used up all our tears ! so the first day was ALL smiles and giggles for us! :) I think i got sad saying bye to all our new school family because i felt SO grateful for everything that school has given us and wasn't sure if i could accurately express my gratitude. that school has loved on my babies and made our world magical and we were so grateful for it! on to the next chapter! :)
mccoy bounced through the halls on the first day and said everything was AWESOME when he came home! he adored everything about it! :)
liza was an old pro and got a class with a lot of her buddies so she was a happy camper too!!!! :)

loved this from FLS:

"Your attitude for life is powerful and your role model is creating an everlasting impression on your kids and those around you. Ask yourself: Are you fun? Is your attitude positive? Do you look on the bright side? Do your kids look to you as a source of joy and laughter? If not, why not?! I know juggling the demands of family life is all-consuming, yet you only go around once. As the parent, you set the stage when it comes to joy and happiness. You are the director, producer, and key grip when it comes to joy. Decide today to be more positive, more fun, and more engaging. SMILE more. Live today as if it were your last. Make it a great week"
