Mccoy turns 6!

mccoy thought of 9999 ideas he wanted to do for his 6th birthday. he thinks about it and plans for months. he finally mentioned mad scientist and so i booked it before he could change his mind again! he thought and thought about how he was going to dress up as a mad scientist too. it had to be just right! he wanted to have a party with all the boys AND the girls! haha!

it's no surprise he had very specific plans for his actual bday as well.
when i asked him what he wanted to do he sat and thought for a second then said very matter of factly:
i want to wake up and have my presents sitting right here. i want a donut with chocolate icing and sprinkles and 6 candles in it for you all to sing happy birthday to me. i want you to come to school and read a book, bring me chick film a for lunch and do a craft. i want to have beans AT la huerta for dinner and i want a cookie cake for dessert!
phew!!!!

when i think about this kid at the age i think about how many times he makes us laugh. HE laughs too...REALLY belly laughs. it is the best sound and sight. it fills him with joy from his eyes to his mouth.
honestly he is probably my easiest child. he is physically demanding but he doesn't push mentally as bad as the girls ha! granted he can have his days with liza but it is usually her provoking him. he does have an anger issue when he is pushed though ha!he has a ton of energy and imagination but he wants to do right and please and watches and observes boys like crazy! he always knows exactly what he wants or want to be and is always very specific. he has confidence that makes him shine.
he still loves dress up and characters. he loves to dress up in his suit or whatever else he has dreamed up at the time.
he LOVES sports. he is so fun to watch. he never takes himself too seriously though.
he gives it his ALL no matter what he is doing. he hustles lie crazy but will sometimes be laughing at himself while doing it.i am always proud of him on his win/lose mentality. i am always proud of his reaction to both. i try to praise reactions and actions rather then the actual wins. i would hate them to feel like if they lost they would disappoint anyone. it was how we were brought up as well! :)

he is girl crush obsessed. he thinks about girls constantly and truly loves and adores all his "girlfriends" haha. they all draw each other notes and pictures. he loves hard this kid! haha!
he LOVES school. he enjoys reading and doesn't get frustrated with the process of learning at all.
he wants huge muscles and wants to be a big boy still so bad!!!
