the beach trip is coming to an end and by this time i have done my fair share of clearing my head, feeling inspired, and feeling grateful. these trips for me are so much less about the beach and the pool and the food etc ect. it is more about completely uninterrupted time with my children. we have had slow mornings and they actually learned to sleep in a little (prob because we have been eating dinner around edie's bed time ha). we have cuddled and had adventures and laughed and climbed into bed without one more ounce of energy left to give.
i have LOVED getting extra time with mccoy. he is my LEAST MAINTENANCE child. he requires the least amount of attention which means there are somedays at home i feel like the girls have taken all of his time and i had barely gotten to love on him. not this week. he has been the first to curl up to me and hold my hand and we have gotten to cuddle and cuddle. he is on the verge of losing his first tooth, his front one. it has made him look so big all of a sudden. liza has really gotten good at her thankfulness manners. she has thanked us walking out of each restaurant ect and it has made our day.
edie has been totally EDIE! ha! she is such a wild woman and has been no different. but our bedtime and nap time cuddles have seemed less rushed. less about what is running through my mind with everything i have left to do after the kids go to bed.
and jason, there is no way i could do it without him! he is king of the waves and crab hunts.they adore their dad and all he does.
