Liza woke up around 1:30 last night burning up with a 102.6 fever. poor thing. we are also having a HORRIBLE time with the inhaler for her cough. she hates it.
i hope she feels better soon. she has not had a fever all day today so that is good and she has been playing great. the sun has been shining all day and we have LOVED it! we played outside all morning. i took some blankets and books out there and we have just soaked it up. she has almost all of her babies out there too..she also just went down for her nap in about 2 min. (i hope i did not just jinx myself)
the psychologist apt on mon was good. she went into things a little more in depth than the week before. i observed them through a window doing the play therapy. liza had NO problem leaving me to go play or playing in the room. the one thing that did break my heart was she said over and over to the dr "mama's workin'" for some reason i thought that when she played and stuff she was not thinking about me working. this made me sad. i wonder if she says this in school all day? i asked the dr and she said probably not since she is used to it but she was glad liza was saying it because it meant that she could have that mental picture of me and that was her way of talking through why i wasn't there (and in a new environment). she wasn't saying it and getting upset, it was just a matter of fact.
soo, she gave me an article on sleeping and recommended a few soothing techniques that they do with children with sensory dep. (which she said liza did not have but they might be soothing regardless) such as a heavy blanket and almost a deep tissue massage before going to bed. i have done both these and she seems to like them, but still getting up! :)
my dr's apt went great..we have induction date set for next wed feb 25th at 5am! i am so so happy we are waiting till next week...i just feel like we can get a few more improvements with liza by then. i was still a 1 1/2 and 60% effaced.
