Between then and now my little babes have been growing right before my eyes and no one even told me. mccoy turned 3 months old last week and i thought i might need to do a post on that. liza is 2 1/2 now and i never even did a 2 year post on her! i went back and looked and she has grown up soooo much since her 2 year old birthday. so much. so..here they are in a nut shell:
Liza at 2 1/2
Sass Pants...
she loves to say "don't bother me" "i'm busy" i'm working, dont touch me
you hurt my feelings, i'm crying...no, my couch, my food, my etc
she repeats EVERYTHING you say. she bosses everyone. bosses lula around a lot.
she loves SPIDERS or hates them i can't tell. she will spot a spider web from 10 miles away..you have to get the web down immediately. she will follow ants for hours and she can follow a fly around the room faster than anyone. she will be outside and she will say, uh ohhhhh. what do we have here????" and it will be a spider web.
she sings LOUD, baa baa black sheep, abcs, bingo, etc, tv show songs,
She loves to be outside. since it is nice weather she will play in her sandbox for a long time. she will make you whatever food you want, enchiladas, lasagna, etc. she can kick the ball really good, she will play in her playhouse with friends..
she still paints almost everyday.she loves to color. she can draw a person..she draws their head, eyes, nose ears, etc...it is actually really impressive to me. she loves to chalk outside. playdoh a few times a week. LOVES books still and knows the titles of all of them and can finish the sentences in almost all of them.
loves to "cook" in the sink with the water and pots and pans
she can ride her little bike with training wheels really good.
she loves to dance and does a really good bow and REALLY funny curtsy...(i need to get it on video)
eats pretty well for the most part...goes back and forth on what she will eat somedays she will ask for more peas and others she won't touch them. we have started giving her pretty much everything with cheese or milk in it except she still drinks soy. she loves nuts, we have a big thing of pistachios in teh kitchen and she loves them. i would have never eaten those as a kid.
sleeping the past few weeks have been go to bed around 8:30/9-10ish and will get up 1-2 times and then up or the day around 6-7...this is still not near enough sleep for her. it still takes about an hour to get her down. we read about 3-4 books, say our prayers, then lights out and we sit in the chair by the door. this is a huge improvement from the beginning of the bed time mess.
she takes veramyst and zyrtec every night and the snoring has seemed to clear up
she told me tonight that she wanted a sister. then she told me she missed chloe and pretended to cry.
she has really started to love on ehr brother the past week or so. she kisses him goodnight adn give him a hug and includes him in her "god bless" she has been trying to teach him how to roll over and will tell me whne he is sleeping in the back seat and tell me shhh. don't wake up mccoy be quite. she will tip toe around him.she will laugh and smile at him when he is smiling at her. this is all so different since he came..she has pretty much just kind of ignored him up until now. she still freaks when i am feeding him..there is always an emergency like needing milk or cheese or opening paints or soemthing and she will scream " nooooowwww! coooyyyy downnnn!!! huurrryyy!"

Still such a happy happy boy.
he is still eating 6-7 times a day. every 3 hours..started sleeping from 1030-7 a few weeks ago but then went back to getting up at 4 about 2 weeks ago. i can sometimes get him back to sleep without feeding him in the swing.
for about a week now he has been getting pretty fussy about an hour before i feed him. the past couple days he has not wanted me to put him down. i think he might be going through a growth spurt? i pumped this morning and it was only 4 ounces and i fed him a bottle of 6 and he only ate 4 so i guess that is what he is used to eating.. so i'm not sure what's going on there but it is very unlike his usual behavior
he likes to lean up when he is sitting on your lap. likes to stand on lap. is grabbing at my face and necklaces a lot. grabs toys. giggles, giggles, giggles. HATES tummy time. he scoots off blankets when he is on his back.
he hates riding in the car
he has rolled over a couple times but it has always been on some sort of an incline or something so not a true roll over on a flat surface.
he is wearing all 3-6 month clothes and i can put him in some bigger shirts..some 6-12m stuff
he is drooling and chewing on his fingers A LOT...looks like teething but i'm sure that is still a ways away...

So, so adorable Kate! I can't wait to FINALLY meet and love on them in July! I have a feeling that Liza and I might become besties.
