Happy Birthday Liza!

Liza turns 3 on Monday and we had her birthday party on sat. It was a music themed party and we had shaky bugs come and perform. Liza LOVED it. really. completely on cloud nine. she danced the whole time and loved that all her friends were over playing.

These pics were from thursday when she got home from school mr. don was building her new swing set. she sat at this window until he left watching him. she was so so excited. it did take a few discussions for her to realize that mr. don didn't give her the swing set. she finally got it that it was from coco and cricket, mom and dad, and meme and poppy. she has been SOOO excited about it.

she got a package in the mail from aunt jen..it was the cutest book about high heels and a bunch of dress up shoes filled the box!

she went to gymnastics sat morning and i noticed she was wearing an awards ribbon on her leotard. when class was over i looked and it was a "i tumbled on my birthday! " so she had announced to everyone about her birthday, so funny!

the weather was absolutely beautiful. so many of our friends were out of town for the texas Arkansas game but it was a great group and perfect number!

liza really had the time of her life at her birthday party.

i slept with her last night because she was having a hard time and she woke up at about 5:45 and took my face in both of her hands and wispered, "mom, is the party over?"

i showed her the video of her party over breakfast and she looked at me and said ohhhhh mom, this was my best birthday everrrrr!!!!

seriously. i love it. the girl loves abeing surrounded by friends, good music and dancing...

and most of all: is thankful for a good day. for that i am ever so grateful!
