Liza 3 year update

Liza is 3!



Here is an update on what she is up to..



She loves to walk into a new place and take charge. She is extremely outgoing. She will say "hey Everybody!" What's your name? " I'm Liza Carter!"

She will greet everyone with hugs. She is REALLY good with names..remembers more names then i do! She knows every single person's name in her gymnastics class and we have only been to the new sat. one 3 times. she is big into asking what every one's names are like "mom, whats your name? and she will say mama kate?" she knows jason is jason carter. and she is learning about grandparents real names too. she loves to call them "grandparents" i guess they are talking about that in school. she wants to know where everyone lives. she knows she lives in fayetteville!

If she hasn't seen someone in a while she will ask about them and how they are doing...



she loves to say "where'd this come from?" who gave this to me?"



she uses her manners most ;) of the time. she will say no thank you and please and yes maam when she is prompted.



I'm not sure of her stats, her dr apt is next week but i think she is around 40 lbs.

she wears 8-9(almost) shoe. size 4 or 5's in clothes.



she is not all the way potty trained. she never has an accident at home. (except for twice during a matilda jane party last month) we do pull ups during sleeping times and if we go somewhere. she seems to be staying dry more at school too. her teacher told me that liza was excited about taking a big poopoo in the potty last week and made sure everyone knew that she took a big big poopoo like her dad does. and that daddy takes BIG BIG poopoos. gross and funny all at the same time.



she Loves to dance and her dance moves are almost elaine (from seinfeld) like. they are unique to her, that's for sure! :) she loves to incorporate yoga and cartwheels into her dance as well.

she always takes a bow and curtsy afterwards.



her fav songs are row row row your boat, twinkle little star, baa baa black sheep, old man tucker, etc

she loves to sing and especially likes to sing to mccoy to get him to quit crying, it usually works!

she loves to ask "mama, whats your favorite song?"



sleep. oh sleep. i do have to say it is WAY improved from what it has been this year. it has been a long long year in this area. for now...we will read her books, she LOVES reading books and has most of them memorized..then turn the light out..every night it is the exact same...we tell her it's time to turn the light out and say prayers and she says ok and in slow motion goes to get the lamp. either jason or I will say, ok, i'll get it and she will hurry to turn it off. she grabs the little pull and says it looks like a blueberry hanging from little blueberries. every time every night!

we say our prayers...now i lay me down to sleep, i pray the lord my soul to keep, may angels watch me through the night and keep me safe till mornings light. amen. god bless...and then she names off who she wants god to bless that night. this list is usually VERY long. it usually included everyone she knows and then goes to things like god bless lamp, god bless picture. she also loves to say god bless mama and dada, that's you mom, that's you dad! it ends with god bless evvvveryone!

then usually jason sits in the chair in the hall till she goes to sleep while i put mccoy down. the time varies from 10min-30 ish. she usually starts trying to shut her eyes around 8 or 8:30ish.

liza also HAS to have ALL of her fav stuffed animals in bed with her. big monkey, pink monster, pink monkey, piggie, etc.

she then usually comes in our room around 1am and says "please can i get up there?" and she will sleep with us until 6-7am. sometimes she will get uncomfortable and want to go back to her own bed. she will still sometimes have nightmares throughout the night while she is with us.

we know this is still a work in progress but it has come so far from what it was at the beginning of the year.

every morning she says, "the sun is up! " the moon is down!" time to get up!

she loves to look cute and to wear dresses

she loves to eat..her favs are pb and j (she loves to help make these) mac and cheese, pizza...of course all the healthy things in life!!!

her fav toys are mostly art related or anything outside, or books

she loves to draw people and most people have distinct characteristics that are their own!

liza keeps us laughing constantly...a constant gift to us!

she is as sweet as she is spunky...our little pumpkin pie.. she is! :)
