Christmas (Eve) at our house...

I have forgotten how magical it all seems on christmas...maybe because it seems like liza really gets it this year...and asks lots of questions...i was so excited for her to wake up in the morning!

McCoy got up first and then we got liza...notice it is pitch black outside!

Liza couldn't believe her eyes! when i went into her room..she said that she heard jingle bells from santa's reindeer during the night.

mccoy got some more binkies in his stocking! his dream come true! for a guy who never liked binkies till around 8-9 months...he has found his true love. he loves to have 3 with him at all times..

she couldn't believe this horse!!!

she loves all of these little animal figurines..there is a lot of " you be the tiger and i'll be the giraffe" then she says as the tiger"hi!, what are you doing?" and we go from there..

our house was a perfect mess!

this sweet little guy is just happy to have some packages with his name on them!

this was the favorite toy of the morning..a last minute buy from target...a barking/walking dog. she has slept with it and taken it everywhere. who knew.

she also loved her glow doodle..it was great in the car. kitchen? barely notices it! :)

of course, we had too much stuff. liza got tired of opening so we left around 6 presents to open later.

i had to run an errand in rogers before we left for camden...i got a call from jason when i got up there that liza had broken a candle and mccoy had grabbed the broken glass and was bleeding really bad and to come home. so..i raced home and called a neighbor to go help jason. they got him cleaned up and we didn't have to go to the er thankfully! :)

in the meantime we loaded the car as fast as we could because we were already late on the departure time to camden..it was freezing cold and raining hard..YUCK! (the car was not in the garage) we finally got everybody in...we were all frazzled! i thought i was going to have to toss a bucket of water on jason to get him to come to.

so anywho..on the road to camden...once we got to conway it was raining so hard we couldn't see...mccoy's little finger was bleeding on and off and he was trying to swallow all of his band aids...did i mention he ws still in his pjs? we got to sheriden and were stuck there for ever. I 30 was closed because of the floods and so everyone was going through sheriden. while we were stuck in that traffic liza peed her pants all over the car seat.

it ended up taking us 6 1/2 hours to get to camden. we were late to granny's but made it! :)
