Christmas Night and weekend in Springfield!

Liza was hot so she turned her tights into biker shorts...jason has no idea how good of a base he would be for a cheerleading thigh stand..he loves to sit like that!

cricket is always good for a foot walk or dance..jennifer, chip and i used to do this for hours on his feet!

this was my only pic of coco in springfield! :( probably because she is holding a baby or being dragged around by liza every single second of our time there! we do not let her rest! she got up with mccoy in the middle of the night, she would go get him at 5 something when he woke up for the day, give baths, and then help us put liza down for naps etc... thank. you. for all you do!

a big thank you to all of the extra hands we have when we are visiting family! :) it does take a village..

liza got a new sleeping bag from bob and fran! she LOVED it! it is currently in her bed as we speak..laying right next to it is the mini version with her giraffe snuggled in it!

Liza got a new art easel from coco and cricket! she LOVES it and works on it non stop..just this morning i think she got around 10 paintings done... she is calling it her "weasel" though....oh well!

i stumbled upon the fact that if i took pictures of chip over and over it would really annoy him..so that kept me occupied a good amount of the time. love it when i find something new like that!

but of course, he could only be mad for so long...because i said something REALLY funny before this one! haha!

see...he wants to hit me but he knows he would get in big trouble for that...PLUS he knows i would hurt him even worse back....see the fear in his eyes???

when one needs a drink break...another one is ready....

the drive from camden to springfield seemed pretty easy compared to our day before! :) we were still VERY ready to get out of the car for a couple days! :)

we got to coco and crickets and started tearing into presents again! everyone waited all day for us to get there...not one present opened..my dad said they did what all the other lonely families did on christmas day..went to see a movie and then went to walgreens. haha.thanks guys for waiting on us! :)

we all got showered with too many things for the third time in 2 days... we are surrounded by many generous people!

thank you to all of our family (carters and johnsons) for all the hard work you put into getting the perfect presents and wanting to make a perfect christmas for us all!

you know our biggest gift from you all is your presence and daily support! we are forever grateful.

it took 4 people to get mccoy down for the night...and liza took about an hour or two...phew! over tired babies!

we woke up and played and played and played! we even got to take naps! that is luxury for jason and i! bob and fran came over the next night with hannah and tim to have christmas with them! we love spending time with them and always have some good laughs! lucky to have them as our godparents!

on sunday we loaded up the car to head back home...

only to have a flat tire...

jason unloaded the car to get the spare and someone came to fix it...then they loaded the car BACK up and we hit the road! it is always something! we are just glad it happened before we left!!

what a wonderful christmas.

we feel blessed.
