It has been a busy couple weeks! We tried to take it down a notch since Halloween. Both kids seemed way over stimulated and tired. They pretty much had something every single night so we tried to keep it close to home after that week. the first weekend liza didn't want to leave the house so we played and played at home which was very fun! we "swept" leaves and watched movies together. After getting sitter after sitter during football games it is such a treat for all of us to hang out and play.
We took the kids to the last home game of the year yesterday. Liza did great and loved the fireworks and would do a full dance/cheer routine every time the band played. McCoy, on the other hand, was hell on wheels. jason and i were both sweating with about 10 min left in the 1ST QUARTER.
It was daylight savings time last weekend. It threw the kids off REALLY bad. they have been up around 4am every morning except one morning last week.. liza started getting in our bed again in the middle of the night as well. we have already nipped that in the bud HOPEFULLY. She picked out a $2 toy at target to get when she makes it 4 nights in a row without getting out of her bed... so 2 nights left and i think we will be good. Mccoy has been really tough. it is like clockwork every night at 4am and jason and i both have to take turns trying to get him back down. by the time we get back in bed he wakes up again so we just take turns so we can get a little sleep in between. I have a feeling that they will get out of wack traveling for the holidays as well... i guess we can sleep in Jan! haha!
a few funnies from liza:
when i picked her up one day last week i asked her what her fav part of school was that day.
she said...well mom, probably when i got married to carson.
this conversation went on for a while with all sorts of questions about husbands and marriage. that girl thinks and thinks.
she also told us today while she was playing on my phone that she was "texting" carson!!! i'm not even sure how she understands what that means!! :)
mccoy is really talking a ton more. he is repeating a lot and is constantly yelling for "SISSY!!! "
that guy is REALLY funny. it is so funny to me how they can have a sense of humor at that early age.
for some reason he has taken a HUGE interest in the potty. he will come get us and say "TEETEE!!!" and take us to the potty. he will sit on there forever. he is VERY pleased with himself for sitting up there.
we have not really ever talked to him about it so i'm not so sure why he thinks he is ready this early.
last night at the game liza's bow fell in the potty right when it was flushing. and then we got home and mccoy tee teed on the potty for the first time (instead of just sitting there) he was VERY excited and then decided to get back up there a couple min. later without telling us... and when i heard him screaming, i ran in to see him ALL the way inside the bowl. his whole. entire . body.
so it was a super potty night for the carters. yuck.

I'm going to need to know more about this Mr. Carson. Liza is too cute! I'm starting to think that McCoy is a mini-Jason...or maybe Chip?
It sounds like you have been as busy as we have been, the kids are so cute!! See you in the field, let's do lunch soon!
Love chelle!
I am laughing out loud as I think of McCoy falling in the potty! I know that had to be so funny!!! Love keeping up with the Carter's. You have some hysterical kids.
Liza and McCoy, I need some down time, too, just to play with you. Seems like each weekend in Fayetteville is rushed - but fun. I wouldn't want to miss them!
Cricket and I love phone calls from McCoy. He does enjoy talking and when I ask a question, he generally answers no or does an animal sound. I can't wait to have you both here for the holidays.
Love, Coco
