Thanksgiving

Well, we survived Thanksgiving!

We were feeling pretty good about the big drive down to camden. It was trying at times, including the last hour or so,  but overall the kids were pretty decent! So...we were feeling on top of our game! Well, then I started feeling yucky when we got there and then i started throwing up right before dinner. ugh.

we were getting the kids to bed and then liza threw up all over the bed. so needless to say..liza and i had a rough wed night. she threw up until about 5am. McCoy was in the room with liza and i and he pretty much stayed asleep almost the whole night!

so the next morning i still wasn't feeling 100% and felt so nervous about getting the rest of the house and granny sick...so liza and i decided to pass on thanksgiving lunch and we came down after they started eating and hung out in the other room.

we were missing his cousin will's fam too because they were sick.

this poor baby fell asleep while they were all eating lunch

 so did this little munchkin.

we took our sickness and headed out after lunch. thank you meme and poppee for hosting! meme had to do piles of yucky laundry which had to have been awful. thank you!!!! sweet aunt becky and all those kids (john too) helped so much with the kids!!!!! you all are the best! :)

we got in the car and headed up to springfield. i wanted to go back to fayetteville and my own bed so bad but jason insisted on springfield. (it really is only about 30 min longer)
the drive was pretty awful with the kids. and i was a zombie from no sleep the night before but we finally made it! neither child really napped one bit in either car ride! mccoy did a little bit on wed...but other than that they were wide eyed!!
just in time for jason to get sick that night! ugh!!!!
the next day my mom and i took the kids to the club for a kids day they had. they had a kids band and a bunch of crafts...

 before the annual fri night dinner of all our springfield friends! jason had to stay home since he was sick and we made him take a pic of us! haha! i went for one drink to say hi to everyone. i took one sip and the kids were freaking and we decided it was time to go!! :)

Liza and I met Anna Claire and Kim at the movies to see Tangled (3d! ) The girls loved it! Of course, Liza boo hooed through all the sad parts!

We ended up giving the stomach bug to my dad and chip sat night. chip had to miss his flight then buy a new one. we felt awful. my dad was pitiful. :(

that sickness is totally not fun.

we ended up making a great weekend out of it and did tons of fun things! my mom watched the kids while we went to the razorback watch party  and then while i shopped and went to see a movie with my mom and sis! i am so grateful for you all and you are constantly my role models! :) love ya!

We are SO grateful for all of our families!
