The Carter's

 So with the extra couple of snow days around here we have had to think of some fun activities! we decided to make smores in the fireplace upstairs. they loved it! we met cole and cy at boingo bounce to bounce some steam off....

 we started back swim lessons!
mccoy was too cold in the water so he didn't swim for very long!
liza was not too excited about starting back because she didn't want to go under water. she seemed pretty nervous most the of the lesson. but she said she had fun afterwards!

 we had to scream lots of positive reinforcement...mccoy got really into it and would scream and clap for her and would scream "YAYYYYY SISSYYYYYYYY" he loved how it would echo in there!

we also made snow ice cream which was pretty darn yummy!

i would say the highlight of the last couple of days was getting to be a part of our lovely blake's ENGAGEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was so so sweet...cody dropped off these flowers and a letter for blake early in the day and we had tricked her into thinking she was going to babysit. so when she came over liza handed her the letter and said "cody brought this for you!!!!!!!!!!!" blake was of course so confused and surprised!!!!! loved it! :)
liza also told her that cody brought this stuff over and he said "i love blake!" i have teared up so many times during cody's planning and i loved getting to see the look on her face! they are going to have such a fun life together and have the best little family! blake will be such a wonderful mom, cody picked good!!!!. we just love her to pieces! from our house she had to hurry and leave for her next stop..nail apt! :) congratulations blake and cody!!!!!!!! thanks for letting us be a part of it! we are so happy for you all!

i have to leave for chicago tomorrow till friday. i HATE leaving for that long. it really is the pits. i get pretty anxious about leaving the kids and making sure everything is ready for them for the week and getting myself ready. i miss them all like crazy when i'm gone. thankfully my mom and dad are helping and taking them up to springfield for most of the week! the kids are always so excited to do that it eases the pain a little knowing they are on cloud nine. so thank you again coco and cricket!!!! :)
