Liza lost her first tooth!

 A couple weeks ago liza told me her tooth was loose and when i looked in her mouth her NEW tooth had already come in behind it!!!!!!! eek!  i think jason and i did a good job of playing it cool and we acted like this was something VERY COOL that happened! haha. We called her dentist and they said try to get her to lose it the next week and a half and then they were going to look at it. we took her to the toy store to look at this "cat" that she had been obsessed with and we told her if she wiggled it as much as she could we would come back and get it when she lost it! liza was SOOOO ready to get it out. she really reacted the complete opposite of what i thought she would. she is kind of panicky so i thought losing it or trying to get it out would kind of freak her out but she was ALL about it! :) even cricket didn't scare her when he told her he would get it out. she would even come to me and say, "mom can you just pull my tooth out?"  (the cat was REALLY cute) haha.
anywho--so the night of easter she was brushing her teeth and came running down the stairs screaming my tooth is out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got out the tooth fairy pillow that coco brought us. it is the one we all used growing up in my house. MY grandmother (mimi johnson) made it for us.

 so there you have it. the easter bunny and tooth fairy came on the SAME day!

we headed to the dentist tuesday morning and they ended up needing to pull the one right next to it to give it some room. liza didn't really know that was what they were doing so she was a REAL trooper!!!!! they were SOOOO good with it all and so that made things VERY easy! :) she got pretty nervous a few times but nothing too big! i asked her afterwards how she felt about it all and she said she was just glad they didn't use the "fast spinning brush" (teeth cleaning)
we took the morning off and i took her to get some prizes and to eat some yogurt and then we came home and she begged me to take her to school!!!! ;) mccoy spotted us when we pulled in so he got a little emotional about not being with us so i checked him out to run have a lunch date at braums. so it was a good mama day for me to steal some extra alone time with my kiddos! ;)

also-the night liza lost her first tooth mccoy (needing some attention) climbed up onto the bathroom counter and started messing with his teeth and said in his best little gruff voice "i'm gonna YANK my teeth out!!!!!!!!!!"
