First Day of Kindergarten!

 The night before....
the "back to school fairy" came and rang the doorbell! ;) there was silly string and a puppy that liza has wanted from target ;). liza was convinced our neighbor reid davis was the back to school fairy for some reason.
she was thrilled with it! ;)

amber dropped of a kindergarten prize...a dry erase board for pics and play and Kleenex for the momma! ;) she felt like a million bucks.

 i got some good snuggles in with this little newborn.

 the morning of she was terrified and excited all in one! ;)
she woke up extra early and thought she was going to be late. i could tell she was nervous because she didn't like her socks and her shoes were bugging her. she DID NOT want to take any pics and she is usually a trooper for me ;). it was a little chilly that morning and she was acting like it was 30 below and couldn't stand outside anymore! :)

 no matter what i did, i could not get a normal happy smile out of her!

 once we got to school and saw gabby she was getting back to her normal happy self!!!! :)

 feeling pretty good! :)

i was good and held it together but my eyes filled up a few times.
we were walking to class and i squeezed her hand three times to say "I.love.you." (I have done this with my kiddos since they were babies and they always squeeze back, i love you ) she looked up at me and smiled and squeezed back 4x (i love you too) and it warmed my heart to say the least! :)

 sitting at her spot...she started to freeze up on me again...where did that smile go! ;)

 and don't even ask why we are all wearing green. it is totally creepy. we didn't know it was happening until we were all walking out. i couldn't look at us. what weirdos. no wonder liza didn't want pics with us! :)

i could not WAIT to hear how her first day was!!!!! when i picked her up i could tell it was great! she jumped in my car and talked in a new valley girl voice and was s excited and said school" was like great!" ;)
she had that smile back on!
she said her fav part was lunch except that i forgot to put dessert in her lunchbox. she said the boy next to her had 2 m&m cookies that she would have liked!
she decided that she probably wanted to buy her lunch from now on..she saw they had pink milk there!

 sweet blake and cody sent her flowers when we got home! liza was SO excited about this and shrieked!!! she said, mommmmm i have never gotten flowers sent to me before!!! " :) so so sweet! she felt sooo special! :)

sweet  casey stuck a yummy apple bread after school snack in the mailbox and liza said, mom...a lot of people were excited about me going to vandergriff!!!...i got a lot of presents!!!! haha :) what a treat for BOTH of us that apple bread was! :)

the second and third days have been a blast for her! she loves school! yay!
