Liza is 6!!!!

 the night before liza's birthday she threw a good old fashioned fit. she got so upset i finally looked at her and said do you want a hug and want me to rock you? she nodded. it was all she needed. she just needed to be loved on. my little newborn that was on the cusp of turning 6 years old just needed her momma to rock her! so thankful for moments like these. ;) so so thankful.

liza has been counting down her birthday since she turned 5. so you can imagine that when it comes down to the night before you might feel a little anxious!!!!! liza was up just about every couple hours not able to sleep and wondering if it was morning. we were 4 deep in the bed and finally i took liza back to her bed and slept with her. she was up again bright and early rubbing my arm asking if it was morning yet and time for her birthday. god love her! ;)
we all rallied and went downstairs for her birthday!
it didn't help that when she woke up the first time and saw the balloons in her room it got her all excited! ;)

 the last couple of years i have gotten her a book for me to read to her class on her birthday. ;)

i am so mad at myself for not taking more pics of the day but i picked up chickfila to bring to liza for lunch. she was soooooo excited for me to come eat lunch with her! after lunch i went to her class to read them her book. she was so proud  ;) she wanted me to read my little note in the front to everyone ;) afterwards, we passed out little treats to all of her classmates and she felt so extra special for this! ;) when i picked her up we went and picked out a present from uncle chippy at barnes and noble and then picked up mccoy and headed to rick's so she could pick out her very own special birthday cake. she had been talking about specifications on her cake for weeks so i told her she could pick out whatever she wanted to take to chuck e cheese that night!
once again, she felt like a million bucks. she told me that this was her best day times 100. we headed to chuck e cheese and got to celebrate with some buddies and it was one good day!!!! :)
