Liza's Puppy Party!

Liza had been VERY instrumental in planning her birthday party. it was a big decision to choose what kind of party she wanted to have. she originally wanted everyone to bring their dogs and have a dog show but i couldn't wrap my head around it...then she said she would just have a mexican party because she wanted cheese dip and then we decided we could do a puppy party where everyone adopts new stuffed animal puppies. she wanted to help plan every single little bit of it from picking out invites to food to each little station..and decor...she wanted to decorate her dogs with jewelry and shoes and place them around the house... i could not figure out how to incorporate boys into this party so we decided to do just a small girls party. this was very different from years passed and we were sad to miss our sweet boys at the party because liza has lots of friends that are boys that she loves just as much as her girlfriends! ;)
i enlisted the help of polly and beth to come work some stations.
polly came...ready as ever.

when the girls walked in they would pick their puppy and fill out an adoption certificate with their puppy's name. they would then go make it a beaded collar.
then to dr beth who would listen to his heart beat and give him a shot and bandage his leg up.
then they would go to the groomer and get bows and perfume and blow dry

 then decorate their doggy houses
 puppies have to eat!

it as such an easy little party and so much fun to watch all these cute girls play and giggle! :)

I don't know who is more clever, the mom or the daughter! Such a cute party and the girls looked like they loved it. Happy Birthdy, sweet Liza! I'm so glad you are 6 years old. I have loved you every year!
