i was just about to put my thinking cap on the next activity to do with the kids and all of a sudden.....the snow started coming down in sheets!!! my kids were acting like they had won the lottery...the immediately opened up the front door and ran out in it...just thrilled with the magical downpour.
it was FREEZING but we played outside for hours. i think it was only about an inch but they made the very best of that inch of snow! ha!

mccoy made about 4 of these and then would scream....and NOW I AM GOING TO WRECK IT AAAGHHHH and he would kick and hit it and jump on it till it was trampled and he would start again. what a boy.
this picture was liza finally worn out. it was getting dark we had been out there for so long and we were soaked but she wanted her snowman just perfect. we had to find seashells for the eyes and nothing was going quite right so she was losing her smile fast! :)
