We came home from the hospital after one night. ms. edie jane was a breeze in the hospital when we got her home she had a little trouble going back to sleep after nursing ;) linda was staying with us and helped us hold her throughout the night that night! thanks linda!
that pattern has continued and i sit up on the couch holding her after nursing to sleep. ;) there have been a couple nights that she let us put her down in the bassinet after nursing or the swing but other than that she likes to cuddle! i miss sleeping horizontally! lol! she is sooooo so easy during the day though! :)
our days have been busy busy! liza was out of school one day and then mcoy got the top of a food coloring bottle stuck up the bottom of his foot so he couldn't walk one day so he stayed home ;)
my mom ended up staying in town through that first week of us being home since my brother was coming the next weekend. it was so fun having a buddy to play with all week! thank you mom!!!!! you helped a ton!!!!! :)
the kids have been REALLY good with edie.
they love loving on her and holding her.
mccoy has been exceptional. liza seems to be on a downward spiral though. it reminds me a little bit of when mccoy came home. she is just acting up a TON and throwing lots of fits. she is saying a lot of "no one wants to play with me anymore, no one loves me anymore..ect ect" keep in mind that this is usually when she is getting in trouble for something and usually right after we have had solid one on one time with her so i really don't feel too sorry for her!!!!! lol! she is getting more time with me not working then any other time! ;)
she had gone to her weight and color check a couple days after we got home and she was still not back up to birth weight but my milk had just come in that day and she was jaundice at a level of 16 so they just needed her to get some sun and feed ever 2 1/2 hours.
