McCoy at 5

he LOVES dress up. if we are home all day he will change clothes about 5 times in different outfits. he loves to wear his tux from blakes wedding. or jason's belts either around his waste or over his shoulder to hold his guns and bow and arrows. he will watch a movie or play with a toy then want to dress up just like the main character. and of course he wants to be just like his dad. :)

he still LOVES sports and really hustles and gives it his all. we are always careful to compliment this trait more than any goal or points he scored.  but he loves to score goals haha. he loves golf and riding his bike and scooter. LOVES big boys. he will watch and mimic any big boy around. i always laugh and say his best friends are 9-12 year old boys. ;)

he LOVES his sisters. he gets sad when liza isn't around and is obsessed with edie. he always wants to cuddle her and really can't get enough of that baby! totally the opposite of what i imagined! ha! just to get the whole picture though he and liza have started fist fighting. grrr.

he performs and sings a lot. he loves teen beach movie and will act out scenes from it.

he loves to be inappropriate. that has started this year pretty bad. he thinks toots ect are the best thing around. All boy that kid! :)

he is really pretty low maintenance compared to liza. he is not a big whiner but will get angry if he feels like he is not being heard.

his fav foods are milk, turkey, black grapes, and gold fish.

he will laugh till he can't breath but might go straight into a fit of rage and fury if you provoke him.

he still picks out his clothes everyday and mainly want to wear under armour or something sports related.he has very specific things he is particular about and wants you to help him implement like birthday parties or an event he wants to plan. we pretty much let him make all the choices we can to make sure he stays confident in himself! confidence is something he has down. haha.

he is interested in writing and is always asking how to spell things. he still gets some letters confused but shows interest in writing things out. this year in class it seems he spends ALOT of time in the art station which is new for him this year. we come home with about 20 pictures from school everyday. to keep in perspective there...since they aren't allowed guns or swords at school he will draw them and then cut them out to play guns. lol.


the kid has BIG ideas. he dreams big and his imagination runs wild. he loves to talk things out and how we can make them happen. his birthday is a perfect example of that! :)

if i could pick any of my kids to sleep with he would be it. he is still and sweet when he sleeps. i love to cuddle him but he has to be in the right mood to let me .
he is pretty easy to get to sleep but we have to lay with him. he comes to get in our bed every now and then but not as bad as his sis :)
