we give thanks! :)

we got to springfield on tuesday and the kids were so excited to see everyone!

uncle chippy will be a good dada some day! ;)
cricket always has some good cuddle time!

wed we went to the discovery center. liza LOVES this place

mccoy was OBSESSED with football all week. he found cricket's razorback jersey and slept in it and wore it non stop along with chip's mighty might pads and helmet. mccoy would get on the ground and 'Hut" and then run a tackle. he would also run around the whole house making touchdowns.
liza was weather girl on the news at the discovery center
wed night we got to hit the town and go have some "adult time" we had so much fun catching up with everyone and telling old stories! :) we got home and gathered the kids from sleeping with cricket and coco since cricket was on call and got everyone settled and then the house alarm went CRAZY saying there was a fire. so at 3:30am we were all looking frantically for a fire! then up bright and early for thanksgiving day! :)

 giving bob a good tackle
friday coco took the kids to the nature center and to chick fil a then kept them while we went to a watch party at parlor 88 for the razorback game. thank you coco!!!! jason and i felt like we were at an all inclusive resort because we had free childcare, 24 hour buffet and free drinks! ;) there was always someone to read the kids books and help put them to bed or give them baths or watch movies with.

it was so much fun seeing aunt jen and uncle chippy. they were so great to have for entertainment!

friday night we headed out to the annual dinner at gilardi's with all our friends.
it is always interesting taking the kids to a nice restaurant.
they wrastled under the table and hid behind curtains. got spaghetti all over the floor, tablecloth, chair and carpet...you know...just all the fun stuff that makes ya think, why in the hell did we do this? ;)
our dinner group takes up this whole room!they are all like family to us! :)
liza and mccoy helped coco cook thanksgiving meal. i'm not sure if coco really wanted help but she welcomed it nonetheless!
they weren't interested in pics. at. all.
liza got really mad at me during lunch because i was"looking at her" when i say really mad i mean she couldn't get past it for about 24 hours straight.

"Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of Heaven and helps us feel God's love. "

Our hearts are truly grateful for each and every blessing in our life. for each breath we are given and each day that passes....we are thankful! :) oh ya...and for watermelon.

Right . . . . no spanking grandma! It is a happy place when the children and grandchildren are here and I'm sure ice cream and cookies help! Loved our Thanksgiving.
